These guys have been some of my favorites since I first found their audio's back in 2013. together 😊 I've enjoyed spending time with Will and Taylor again. Nothing is ever easy for Will and Taylor - but they always find their way through. Would I listen to it again: absolutely ✔ Did the story keep me engaged: yes ✔ Was I invested in the characters: always ✔ 📖 Story comment: Good pace and a fitting final adventure. 👍👍 - these guys just make me happy ! 😁 The dynamic between the MCs is fantastic, their relationship just build and builds. It's probably the Josh Lanyon series I've listened to the most.

Fans of this series won't want to miss this one - and if you haven't done the Dangerous Ground series yet, I highly recommend it. Anyhoo - a nice little mystery, great Will-Taylor drama (damn, I miss them), and quite a lot of smokin' hot physical romance (thank you Josh). Plus I'm incredibly grateful he was able to perform this one, since IMHO nobody else should be reading this series.

so I'm definitely cutting him some slack here. Bisson's defense, it has been six years since Kick Start. His David Bradley is a bit off, and his Taylor isn't quite right. I'm going to be honest and admit that his voices aren't as well done in Blind Side. I love Adrian Bisson's performance here - his voices for Will and Taylor are just so perfect. This series is one of my all-time favorite comfort listens. Lots of laughs, good sleuthing, friction in several kinds of relationships, and another fine cozy mystery in a great series! Loved it! Matt Haynes is the laid back voice actor who really knows how to underplay the laughs.Stunning conclusion to one of my favorite series! Oh, and Ellery's actress mother and producer stepfather are visiting. It only gets wackier and more dangerous from then on.

That is soon followed by a request (with money for needful things) for Ellery to find out who is trying (ineptly) to murder one of the wealthy misfits.

Meanwhile, while diving, bookseller (and sometime amateur sleuth) Ellery and Police Chief Jack (they might be becoming a couple) come across a vintage diving suit which just happens to have a more recent skeleton inside. A wealthy family of misfits have invaded near the end of the season for the yearly regatta (and waaay too much work for Pirate's Cove PD) and have brought a lot of craziness. Amateur-sleuth, bookseller, family, family-dynamics, friendship, island-life, law-enforcement, m-m-cozy-mystery, murder, murder-investigation, relationship-issues, situational-humor, small-town, small-business, verbal-humor, silver-sleuths, puppy***** It seems that Pirate's Cove is having more mysteries, but the Silver Sleuths can't help because the main suspects are from away, not locals.
